Hakpaks
« on: May 18, 2004, 04:43:22 PM »
I have come to you today to issue a request. I would like you fellow NWN patrons to provide me with certain Hakpaks that you yourself have enjoyed (I am particularly looking at Luchaire for this one). I am mostly just looking for appearance packs, such as new heads or different looking armor. Nifty new combat animations would be great too. :) (Yes, I could find this information for myself but I am far too lazy)

Another question is: how would I go about modding existing in game features? Such as altering the heads and implimenting the hack into the game?

That is all

The hakpaks I use are ones specific to the Mythos persistent world I play on.

I have no idea what to recommend, because that's the only online gaming I do and therefore the only haks I use.

Everything I use in the main game itself, when I play it, is made in the toolset - nothing comes from haks. The exception is the wings I added to my elf to make a Winged Elf (Avariel), but that was done by editing the character file itself.

As far as I know, 90% of the stuff in haks won't work with the main game anyway - I've tried importing weapons/armor/etc and nothing seems to work. Only head packs do. *shrug* I think the game overlooks the hak folder when playing the boxed version.

Aim low. Less chance of disappointment. More chance of a nutshot.

If you don't have idiot friends, it's possible you are the idiot friend.
