Overwatch

Anyone playing this? I just picked it up last night.

I mean, giving money to Blizzard in the middle of a Steam sale is probably a hanging offense in 67 countries, and I still feel dirty after three showers, but aside from that... it seems fun. So who plays?

Aim low. Less chance of disappointment. More chance of a nutshot.

I didn't think you'd be the type to enjoy it. It's Dota in first person, after all.

More like it's TF2 with cute skins.

I've never really played TF2, so I can't attest to that. As far as I know, though, that game's classes aren't as hyperspecialized as Overwatch heroes, and gameplay doesn't revolve around ultimate availability/coordination nearly as much.

And who knows, I may hate it. I only just got it installed overnight and fiddled with training modes this morning. Waiting to coordinate with some friends before I dig into it for reals.

Good idea. Soloqueueing will more likely than not ruin your day.

Yet another Multiplayer game, however this is blizzard, so it won't die a death in a few months compared to 95% of other MP games.  After that you have the same things that are in every other MP game.  Dealing with other humans.  That makes/breaks the game as much as cute faces.  Sounds like having friends who play will help.

I agree with Tim...

But I lost too much time to TF2 so I will have to stay clear :)
