Ok...

As far as I have determined these are the base assumptions that ME2 starts with.

Wrex is Dead.

If you are male than Kaidan is dead.
If you are female than Ashley is dead.
The council is dead.
Udina is now in control.

Rachni Queen is dead.

This site has saves for ME1.  I haven't checked it out too much yet.  I have played the game so many times I might just use it.  Save me a slog through ME1 again.

Pity I have lost all my saves.

Shiala is also dead.

She was the asari that was controlled by the Thorian.

Does anyone know if you can change the look of a character that is brought forward.  After a while you get tired of looking at the same character.  And yes I am a dweeb, but I do enjoy personalizing my characters.

Yes, you can.

Aim low. Less chance of disappointment. More chance of a nutshot.

You can even change his/her class. Basically, what you are importing is much more your choices (and a little bit of cash and bonus experience) than your character himself.

Oh, you can't change the name either.

A friend of mine who had lost his ME1 saves took the closest one he could find... but played the whole of Mass Effect II as German Shepard :lol:

The only important thing is having a save where Wrex lived - simply because Wrex is awesome. The other decisions are irrelevant, IMO.

Huyghe (Wizard :: 60)
Westmalle (Demon Hunter :: 60)
Bernardus (Monk :: 60)
Corsendonk (Barb :: 60)
Fantome (Witch Doctor :: 60)
