Expansion pack added a dwarf and daemon char.  Both pretty cool, but I've taken the dwarf further.  If you remember the annoying kids in town following you all over the place, you really appreciate the daemon, because everyone runs away from her, because she's a demon.  Great way to get rid of those kids though.

Gah. I forgot about the daemon. I was going to play with one.

Might have to re-install this...

I think the Dwarf (and Daemon) and expansion only, IIRC. I have the expansion but havent installed it yet.

I would recommend installing the expansion.  It takes much less time than installing the original. :-D

And, having the extra characters is pretty fun.  I know I'm having fun running the dwarf.  Man, Braverock is big!  So many quests!  It may take a while before I move on to the next town.

I have to admit that I sort of got bored with this game.  There were actually too MANY quests - and everything except the big ass dragon seemed too easy
Maybe I was doing it wrong

There were actually too MANY quests

I have to agree with that point. As I recall, I was inundated with quests and seemed to lose focus pretty easily as a result.

Aim low. Less chance of disappointment. More chance of a nutshot.

I beat one of the dragons - with my little magelette
It took a lot of running in, letting fly with the artillary, and running like hell
