From start to finish. With a combat, sheilded, horse-riding Sera.

Seriously.

For real.

Maybe.

Well, I might.

I'll DEFINATELY play it for the next 20 minutes or so, at least.

In fact, there's at least a 10% chance I'll actually click start.

Maybe...

How Lego of you. :P

My God.

You remind me of Armand, "Taking your toothbrush to the Cemetary? How Egyptian."

Oh.

Dear God.

That would make me Albert

I think I'm going to cry.

Hysterically.

Having alot of fun, so far, with a mounted Sera and a mounted Wood Elf.

Although most players think horseback riding is retarded, I'm having a tremendous amount of fun with it so far :D

The game really is a joy to play now, without the bugs ;-)

Really? Huh. I always thought the horseback part was one of Sacred's strongest points. It was much fun and cool.

Yeah - if you read the Sacred Official Forums (what little is in there...) it's pretty universally thought of as a horrible idea

Well, the thing is that past the first half of the game (first run, not even meaning the several diff. levels), you will have gear allowing you to run faster than any horse can already, and won't suffer the restrictions from riding a horse.

It is a cool idea, but one they gimped themselves to make it not only useless (I could go with useless for the style) but detrimental.

I've actually read the exact opposite, Godji - that a human's speed is capped at 220, but that horse's don't have a speed cap, so with careful skill point spending, the right horse, and the right +gear, at higher difficulty levels, a horse is faster than a human can ever be. Plus, resistances, etc... on a horse also cover the rider ;-)

Now, that could be wrong, as I have yet to play at high level either with or without a horse, but going by the guides stickied on their official forums, the above seems to be the case.

Well, I played that game loooong ago so may be wrong, though i am pretty sure that the max speed for whatever was 220 (actually that would make you go as fast as horse, not faster, sorry for the imprecision).

Now of course, this may have been solved in a patch too.

This could be very true. Especially as the forums were recently flushed, and everything looks relevent to 1.8.x only ;-)
